Fresh reports on the DNA result involving Mohbad’s wife Wunmi and their son Liam have recently trended across blogs.
These revelations follow leaks from a secret WhatsApp group allegedly created by Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo alongside other celebrities in a bid to seek justice for the late artist.

Leaked chats from the WhatsApp group disclosed that Mohbad's wife Wunmi had done a DNA test for their son.
Celebrity journalist Stella Dimokokorkus came forward to reaffirm her report from May 2024, where she reported that Mohbad's wife Wunmi had allegedly secretly done two DNA tests with both results not released to the public or to those around her.
According to inside sources, all the while that Mohbad's father was asking for DNA test to be done, Wunmi, aided by a popular Nollywood actress, secretly did a DNA test and the result of that first test prompted them to do a second one recently and the result of that test is with the actress and insiders allege that the result might shock everyone.
Stella Dimokokorkus noted how her earlier report was initially denied, as she expressed surprise at the new revelations emerging from the leaked WhatsApp group.

VDM shares Iyabo's statement on Mohbad's dad
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that VeryDarkMan shared part of a chat where Iyabo Ojo allegedly referred to Mohbad's father, Joseph Aloba, as a “useless father.”
He claimed that Iyabo mentioned plans by members of the WhatsApp group to fly Wunmi out of the country.
He promised to share more details about the DNA test allegedly conducted by Wunmi, adding that the DNA saga was what eventually caused the group to fall apart.
