Popular TikToker and streamer Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, has come under criticism over a video from a livestream session with skit maker Carter Efe.

The live stream hosted by Carter Efe showed Peller and some colleagues in attendance.

However, a clip captured the moment Carter Efe unexpectedly turned his focus on Peller, asking the TikToker to spell the word "Economy."

Amid cheers from others, Peller went on to spell "Economy" as "Airconomi."

Uncertain about his response, Peller went on to ask others if he was correct, as they seemingly taunted him, saying he gave the correct answer.

Reactions as Peller spells 'Economy' wrongly

The video triggered reactions with many criticising Peller, who recently interviewed multiple Master's degree holders who applied to be his cameraman.

The position offered a monthly salary of ₦500,000, with many graduates applying for the role.
