Mohbad: VDM Opens Up on Meeting Iyabo Ojo, Naira Marley, Shares Plan and What Transpired

Leader of the Ratel Movement, Martins Vincent Otse, better known as Verydarkman (VDM), has released a video addressing the controversy surrounding his decision to seek justice for the late singer Mohbad.
The activist has been accused of attempting to vindicate Naira Marley in the controversial case after interviewing individuals and sharing messages from the secret WhatsApp chat people fighting for justice for Mohbad set up.

In response to critics, he admitted that he was indeed trying to vindicate Naira Marley based on all the evidence he has gathered regarding the case.
In his new video, he promised to step away from the case but stated he would make two more posts on the matter.
He also threatened to reveal the truth if Iyabo Ojo fails to do so, as she had allegedly promised at the police station to publicly share a truth that could bring the case to an end.
VDM speaks on meeting Iyabo, Naira Marley
Sharing his experience at the police station, VDM explained that he had gone there to follow up on a fraud case when he ran into Naira Marley and Sam Larry.
According to him, Naira Marley saw him, called his attention, and claimed that Iyabo Ojo had apologised to him and even promised to apologise publicly.
VDM stated that he found it difficult to believe that Iyabo Ojo had apologised, considering the kind of person she is.

He added that the police officers present urged him to speak with Naira Marley so that the matter could be resolved peacefully.
The activist also mentioned that he spoke with Iyabo Ojo’s lawyer, Funmi, who said Iyabo was ready to apologise publicly and explain that her involvement in Mohbad’s case was driven by emotion.
VDM further stated that the lawyer suggested Iyabo could support Naira Marley by promoting his music whenever he released a new song, in order to dispel notions that she was being coerced into apologising.
According to VDM, he became angry at that suggestion and told them that if it had happened in the Niger Delta, both the actress and the lawyer might have been shot.
He said they were later taken to see the director of the NPF-NCCC. VDM also disclosed that he pulled Naira Marley aside and encouraged him to let the police know how his career had been destroyed by false accusations.

VDM noted that actress Tonto Dikeh joined the meeting, and Sam Larry was present as well. At one point, Naira Marley confronted Iyabo Ojo, questioning whether any of her accusations were actually true.
According to VDM, Iyabo remained silent before eventually apologising to Naira Marley.
He added that Sam Larry also confronted Iyabo Ojo for alleging that he bullied Mohbad and demanded proof.
Iyabo responded that viral videos existed showing Sam Larry beating Mohbad.
However, VDM said the director then asked her whether she had verified the video, to which she replied that she had not.
