Popular Nigerian content creator known as Iye Pablo has passed away.
On Saturday, August 2, reports emerged online that Iye Pablo, known for her funny videos, was no more.

This comes a few days after TikTok dancer Bigbutfit was reported dead.
Iye Pablo's grandson confirms her death
Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut, while mourning the late Iye Pablo, disclosed that her grandson, Kelvin Goodnews, confirmed her death.
Tunde Ednut also urged people to send words of encouragement to Kelvin, revealing that the content creator was going through a lot, due to his closeness with his late grandmother.

According to Tunde Ednut, Iye Pablo was in her late 70s until her death.

"Wow… this is truly sad. Awww! Thank you, Mama, for all the joy and entertainment you gave us. I just got the news from her grandson @kelvin_goodnews_ it is well. Please take heart, my brother. Mama was in her late 70s, almost 80. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. If you can, please send some words of encouragement to @kelvin_goodnews_ he’s really going through a lot right now. They were very close," he wrote.
Kelvin had a few days ago called for prayers for his grandmother.

Iye Pablo was known for her comedic skits and cheerful presence online.

A video from the My Flatmates producer's funeral also emerged online, stirring emotions. Kayode Peters passed away in June 2025 after a prolonged illness.
