Mohbad’s Bro Shares Old Clip, Accuses VDM of Flipping Sides for Naira Marley: "I Dare Him To Deny"

The controversy surrounding the death of singer Mohbad has taken a fresh turn, and this time, his brother, Adura, called out popular social commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM).
Legit.ng recalls that VDM had gone on a series of investigations, interviewing individuals in the know about the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death
However, in a strongly worded post on Instagram, Adura accused VDM of manipulating public perception and trying to clean up the image of Naira Marley and Sam Larry, both of whom were widely criticised following Mohbad’s death in 2023.

To back up his claim, Adura dug up an old clip of VeryDarkMan, in which the activist condemned Naira Marley for sending thugs to attack rapper Ruggedman.
At the time, VDM had also expressed strong disapproval of Naira Marley and Sam Larry’s alleged bullying of Mohbad.
Fast forward to 2025, and Adura believed the narrative had suspiciously changed.
Hadurah wrote.
“This same w*nker wey once shout say Sam Larry & Naira Marley bullied Mohbad… Today, he don wash am clean, turn clout errand boy for the same people wey break my brother,”
What stung even more was Adura's direct allegation that VDM is now being funded to alter the facts. He questioned where the activist got 20 million, allegedly used to sway others in his investigation.

"Naira Marley's brother breaks bottle on Mohbad" - Adura
Mohbad's younger brother, Adura, has claimed that Naira Marley's younger brother, Tunde, broke a bottle on Imole's head.
In a video shared on his Instagram handle on Sunday, July 27, Adura
He also noted that Verydarkman is being used to distract people from the issue of physical attack on his late brother while he was with the Marlian Music label.
He captioned the video thus:
"That’s Mohbad putting on white singlet…..& the black one Naira Marley junior brother(Tunde) hit him with bottle on his head……… witness people I can mention there @nairamarley @tunde_nm @shuddyfunds Evil people they are so many but those are the ones I have their tags……!! Na that Gy guy @verydarkblackman they use distract people una still dey believe that werey!!"

Mohbad: Jigan replies to VDM
Legit.ng earlier reported that after VeryDarkMan gained public attention from his response to Jigan, the actor fired back.
The critic had shown evidence of a group that was created following the hurtful demise of Ilerioluwa Aloba. Part of those mentioned as members of the WhatsApp group were Jigan, Iyabo Ojo, Dre DMW (identified as Davido’s PR manager), Samklef, Tonto Dikeh, and others.

Following the clip, Jigan went online to state that he was in the group due to his love for Mohbad and decided to seek justice.
