Wizkid’s longtime friend and official disk jockey, DJ Tunez, has opened up about one of the hardest things he’s currently facing, and it involves none other than Davido.
During an Instagram Live session on Tuesday, July 29, the US-based Nigerian disc jockey responded to a fan who asked him what his biggest challenge was.
His response took everyone by surprise.
“My biggest challenge is to get Wizkid and Davido to love themselves.”
DJ Tunez wants the two biggest names in Afrobeats to squash their beef and rebuild what they once had.
For over 10 years, Wizkid and Davido have been at loggerheads. From cryptic tweets to public jabs, the tension between them has defined an era in Nigerian pop culture.

One of Wizkid’s mischievous fans decided to ask Grok to list “the top ten artists who visit Wizkid’s page the most, in order of frequency, along with the number of times each one has visited?”
To the shock of many, Davido topped the list, visiting Wiz's page 500k times, followed by Burna Boy and Tiwa Savage, 300k and 200k respectively.
