Photo of Moment Mohbad Was Injured Emerges After Verydarkman’s N20m Offer: “VDM Would Pay for This”

A screenshot from a throwback video of late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad, surfaced online showing injuries he incurred after he was attacked.
This came after Nigerian critic, VeryDarkMan, whose real name is Martins Vincent Otse, responded to those who have been attacking him over Naira Marley.

Social media users have speculated that VDM was paid to ignore the music executive and his associate, Sam Larry's role in the controversial situation. This also comes on the tail of Iyabo Ojo's alleged claims about the Soapy hitmaker.
Finally, VDM decided to speak on it and asked if anyone had video evidence of Naira bullying Mohbad before his death.
The audacious activist promised to reward such a person with the sum of N20 million. Nonetheless, he advised netizens to desist from bearing false witness

Shortly after VDM’s bold offer, a screenshot from the late singer’s video showed injuries on his body after a group of young men allegedly sent by Naira Marley beat him up.
Legit.ng reported that Mohbad issued a lengthy statement on X (formerly known as Twitter) narrating how Naira Marley arranged for boys to beat him up because he wanted to change his manager.
According to him, he visited Naira's house with two friends to settle the management issue amicably, but they were attacked to the point of checking into a hospital.
Mohbad also made sure to note that Naira Marley coordinated some of the attacks on him, was present when his gang beat him and his friends up and even instructed them from the start.
Also, in 2023, Mohbad’s close friend and colleague, Bella Shmurda, amidst news of Mohbad's estranged relationship with Naira Marley, revealed in an interview that the deceased had attempted to kill himself at some point. Recounting the incident, he said the singer's girlfriend walked in on him sitting by the window in an attempt to jump off.
Bella went on to reveal that despite this, and despite the singer even suffering from hypertension, the label maintained that nothing was wrong.

Wrongful association, beginning of the end for Mohbad - Mrs Okeowo
A concerned mother who is interested in Mohbad's case has concluded that bad and wrong associations led to Mohbad's death.
She noted that while Imole, as the late singer was fondly called, was alive. The people he surrounded himself with were the beginning of what led to his untimely death. She said:
"Mohbad was associated with the wrong set of people, and his parents also failed him as they did not guide him while making that decision. It is either that they were too carefree to be bothered or were absent from his life while waiting for the proceeds of his association, either good or bad. Unfortunately, they all lost him too early."
Naira Marley expresses regret over Mohbad’s death
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Nigerian singer Naira Marley allowed himself to be vulnerable on social media following the new update about Mohbad’s death.
Shortly after the court declared Naira Marley and others not guilty in the case of Mohbad’s death, he took to X to pour out his mind.
Naira Marley’s emotional post raised a series of mixed reactions, with some netizens showing pity for him for the first time
