Mohbad: Samklef Exposes VDM and How He Got Their Secret WhatsApp Chat Leaked, Sparks Harsh Words

Music producer and recording artist Samuel Oguachuba, better known as Samklef, has reacted to claims by social media activist Verydarkman about a secret WhatsApp group he reportedly belongs to.
The activist, in his quest to unravel the true cause of Ilerioluwa Imole 'Mohbad' Aloba's death, claimed there is a WhatsApp group, naming members like Samklef and what they had been talking about.

In response, Samklef has shared several posts about the activist, including claims that VDM paid to obtain all the messages.
Sharing how much he allegedly paid, the producer claimed VDM paid a total of N20 million to hack the group's WhatsApp chat.

He added a claim that the TikToker had openly admitted this and bragged that his fans should use logic rather than emotions.
Samklef also stated that it is not the person who throws the first stone who wins a fight, drawing mixed reactions online.

Fans of the former singer were not pleased with the post.
They asked questions and stated that he should act on what VDM had said a few days ago, while others taunted him over his latest controversy.
The two are not on good terms, with the producer being one of the people who signed a petition against the activist.
VDM was taunted when the funds in his NGO account went missing and insisted that he must produce the money.
Samklef also alleged that the activist was trying to divert the funds.

Reactions have trailed the post mad by the former singer about VDM and the WhatsApp group.
Many in the comments advised Samklef to not throw tantrums, but to accept that he was guilty.

As controversies among celebrities continue to unfold online, media and entertainment lawyer Barrister Justin Ige has advised public figures to take proactive legal steps to protect their image and safety.
He told Legit.ng:
"While engaging with social media remains part of a public figure’s brand, it’s crucial to maintain documented evidence of online abuse or threats. Screenshots, posts, and timestamps often become vital in court proceedings.”
The Nigerian law, he said, provides multiple options for redress:
"Nigerian law offers both civil and criminal pathways to protect celebrities against online harassment, ensuring that their reputation and safety are not unduly harmed by unguarded digital commentary," he added.
VDM speaks about Falz and Bobrisky
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that VeryDarkMan had reacted after Bobrisky slammed him with a N1 billion lawsuit.
In a video, VDM claimed a conspiracy was going on and alleged the transgender socialite was working with Falz now.
