Singer YoungOG reacts to Portable's recent

Afrobeat singer YoungOG spoke exclusively with Legit.ng on Portable's sporadic dropping of songs at every trend or clash with anyone.

The No Paddi For Jungle singer noted that Portable's music will lose value because of its overexposure, which could happen because he drops music too often. He said:

"It is not advisable to make transactional music based on every trend that comes or insult thrown at him. The music will begin to lose value due to overexposure."

Young OG explained further that though there are no rules on how often or regularly an artist can release songs, the erratic, unregulated release could be a blessing and a curse depending on which way it goes. He reacted:

"Though there are no rules in showbiz, right now, the 'erratic' PR strategy is working very well for Portable. I will advise him to keep it up and without infringing on other people's rights."

On the disadvantage, he explained:

"But dropping songs too frequently based on trends and viral news will eventually become redundant and boring."

Portable shades Lege Miami in new song

Legit.ng earlier reported that Portable, in a newly released track, took a jab at Lege Miami following the buzz surrounding a leaked video allegedly showing the actor in a very compromising state.

Days ago, Lege Miami took to social media to cry out over an alleged blackmail attempt involving a leaked private video. According to him, the clip currently circulating online showed a man who appeared to be pleasuring himself.

But Lege was quick to distance himself, boldly declaring that he is not the man in the video and that it was all a ploy to smear his image. Still, his denial didn’t stop Portable from turning the scandal into material for his music.

Sola Sanusi, HOD of the Entertainment Desk, contributed to this article. She provided exclusive commentary from an Afrobeats singer, Young OG, on Portable's incessant song release for this report.
