In 2003, the polytechnic was commissioned by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to offer additional courses in accountancy, computer science, business administration, and management.

The National Diploma programs are open to UTME and Direct Entry candidates. To gain admission to any ND program, you are required to have at least five relevant credits in your O-Level results, with a minimum cut-off of 150 points.
