Jubilation as Lawmaker Pays Tuition Fees for 121 Master’s, PhD Students for Third Time

Kano state - Hon. (Dr.) Abubakar Kabir Bichi has paid tuition fees for 121 students currently studying various master’s and PhD programmes, for the third time.

The beneficiaries are from the Bichi local government area of Kano state.

The lawmaker represents Bichi Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation.

Hon. Bichi is well known through scholarships, educational interventions, and other human capital development initiatives.

According to a Facebook post, Hon Abubakar Bichi, Education Committee under the leadership of Dr. Habibu Usman Abdu, PhD, screened the beneficiaries.

The Committee immediately disbursed the amount to the student, as done every year.

The disbursement exercise was attended by representatives of the benefitting institutions, staff of the Honourable Member, community leaders, student unions representatives, and members of the public.

  • North West University, Kano – 08
  • Aliko Dangote University and technology – 07
  • Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria – 07
